TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker - What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It means the founder has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

Available: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the area where Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.

Safety

This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not make it safe. It should factor into your assessment.

What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
